Description
These are some recommendations on the interpretation. Perhaps, they may help.

The piece is written as a rondo (refrain - episode 1 - refrain - episode 2 - refrain). I believe, it is important to show the contrast between the refrains and the episodes (endless unstoppable motion in the refrains should slow down in the episodes - especially in the singing lyrical second episode).

The last refrain (bar 83 to the end of the piece) is the climax of the whole piece. The climb to the climax starts with a sudden interruption of the lyrical singing second episode (the second double stop in bar 72), then the crescendo in bars 73-82 leads to the climax.

Audio is a performance of the Gigue by Mikhail Iakovlev (viola).
