Description
These are some recommendations on the interpretation. Perhaps, they may help.

The piece is written as a rondo (refrain - episode 1 - refrain - episode 2 - refrain). I believe, it is important to show the contrast between the refrains and the episodes (endless unstoppable motion in the refrains should somewhat slow down in the episodes - especially in the singing lyrical second episode).

The last refrain (bar 83 to the end of the piece) is the climax of the whole piece. The climb to the climax starts with a sudden interruption of the lyrical singing second episode (bar 72 left hand), then the crescendo in bars 73-82 leads to the climax.

Originally, this Gigue was written for viola solo. Naturally, the piano transcription presented here is quite different from the original piece due to the vastly different nature and capabilities of the two instruments.
